Insomniac CEO, Pasquale Rotella, spoke with MTV News several days ago and touched on his determination to bring EDC back to his hometown, Los Angeles.
“I’m looking forward to bringing some of our known festivals back to California. That’s where I come from, so it’s super exciting to me. There is a huge demand and there is a huge fanbase there– we are in the middle of working that out.” – Pasquale Rotella (via MTV News)
According to MTV, EDM’s favorite CEO is simply searching for the right venue. Back in 2010 EDC was hosted at The LA Memorial Coliseum, however, shortly after Insomniac was sued by the City of Los Angeles on multiple counts including civil fraud and unfair business practices. It’s clear that this effort is going to be very difficult, but with the success of this years installment of EDC New York and the pending success of EDC LV, maybe LA will welcome EDC once again.
