For those of us who can’t get enough of the latin infused bass music that is moombahton, there is now an alternative to our monthly U Street Music Hall Massives.
Two months ago Migo Productions launched their latest continual event, Planet Moombahton, at Midtown Nightclub in the genre’s birthplace, Washington, DC. Each month features artists varying from up-and-comers to veterans that purvey the tribal sounds we crave but in a very different atmosphere than the dark underground club we are used to.
This month Midtown will host a personal WRR favorite, Ricky Vaughn, alongside Kid Cedek, MR. PICK4D and Kid Chaos. Definitely not something to miss. Tickets are still on sale through EventBrite.
