Datsik – Master of Shadows EP
Alright well, he may not be an actual ninja, but his Ninja Nation tour is fully-fledged and sweeping the nation! You might want to check if there’s a tour date near you because this is one show you won’t want to miss judging from the picture above alone. In the meantime, regardless if you’re going, I can’t recommend playing this EP out from beginning to end enough. You’re going to find some serious bass packed into this album that gets beyond filthy.
DJ SNAKE – A Different Way (Dirty Audio Remix)
With the release of a super mainstream hit from a legendary DJ comes a wave of endless remixes, especially when there’s a vocalist with a large following. Dirty Audio’s tale on “A Different Way” though is definitely one that is notable and a must for sets. His drop makes the vocals transition flawlessly into a heavier, yet familiar style that will instantly hook you in.
Jameston Thieves – Hagakure (feat. Abrax Phaeton)
Jameston Thieves is one artist that continues to push the envelope on each release with his composition and sound design skills. “Hagakure” is no exception to this and is a hip-hop hybrid track that will get you pumped with slamming drops. This unique track will introduce a refreshing view on trap music and definitely find it’s infectious way into your head!
AlieNation & T-Wayne – Hot Box
Yeah, you read that right. T-Wayne is on this track and it’s a catchy hit. Where else would you make a home for it other than the classic label Trap City? “Hot Box” will introduce some dark vibes into your life while fulfilling all your classic sounding trap needs. When there’s brass stabs flooding a drop you know it’s going to be heavy!
John Christian & VAVO – How Low
Out on Tiesto’s label (or as I like to call him, Uncle Tostie) is another slamming bass house hit that will get you shuffling to the bass wobbles and hooked on the vocals! “How Low” is a collaborative effort from John Christian & VAVO and is one addicting tune. The four-on-the-floor kick and large breakdown will have you swept into the house world and lost in an ever-building drop.
Rhodz – Polygon (Foxhunt Remix)
Closing us out this week is Foxhunt’s take on “Polygon” from Rhodz. This emotional remix is one that will have you catching the feels with the amazing melodic content and notable complextro drop. Don’t be surprised though when a sudden change of events takes you into a heavy atmosphere, before being thrown back into mesmerizing vocals and complex melodies. This was definitely a nostalgic release from the Tasty network that reminisces strongly about old-school releases!
