Get ready for another week of Powerful Picks brought to you by your friends at RaverRafting! We have tunes as heavy as they come and some serious talent from uprising acts. Kick back, crank the speakers, and get ready for our hand-crafted selection – this is Powerful Picks.
Delta Heavy – I Need You
If you’ve been missing that brutally heavy sound recently, then this is one song that is definitely for you. After all, their name is Delta Heavy for a reason. “I Need You” is one unreal release, features screaming bass and aggressive wobbles that will get any crowd rowdy and ready to mosh. With all the drops packed into this track, it’s no wonder that Monstercat signed the song!
Moska – This Is House
Moska is here and has brought one killer house tune with him. “This Is House” may feature a familiar sample that was recently thrown into the spotlight by Katy Perry, but has been modified with an electronic twist to it. You’ll get caught up on this tune with its pounding four-on-the-floor sound before the second drop even hits, trust us.
8 Graves – Smile
8 Graves may be an artist you’re not familiar with, but after giving a listen to “Smile,” we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to feature this song in Powerful Picks this week. Don’t let their follower count fool you though, the production quality on this tune is definitely better than some releases with 10x the fan base. When the drop hits, you’ll quickly see why this song is one that is hard to quit.
Sean Turk – Good Good
Sean Turk is back again and on Hiiigher Records with his new tune “Good Good.” This track is one smooth hip-hop beat with the perfect pairing of rap vocals. You’ll quickly catch Sean’s vibe in this tune and find his influence from New York City in each snare hit and hi-hat.
Daspen – High Rise (feat. Eden Knight)
Closing us out this week is Daspen, with his release “High Rise.” With the new track out on Lush Records, it’s easy to see why you’ll quickly drift away into the dreaminess of this hit. Eden Knight also helps out on providing a stellar top line that will ease you into the chill track.
