The world recording breaking (and fan confronting) producer Calvin Harris shared a three-minute preview of his latest remix “DNA.” The Empire of the Sun original features a nice blend of soft electronic and organic elements. Calvin Harris transforms the original into a club-friendly, electro-pop remix.
My favorite part of Harris’s style is his ability to keep the traditional structure of an electro-house track without making it over the top. His “DNA” remix carries this very element, something I was afraid was long gone due to Harris’s recent comments like “I’m doing more dance music that probably won’t get into the charts.”
