Q-dance, one of the world’s largest “hardstyle edm” focused dance event organizers, made the visual announcement early this morning that they will be bringing the party to California (via facebook).
After teasing fans since last Thursday, Q-dance posted the above image and commented “How does everyone like our new temp logo?”

About Q-dance and Why This is Huge News
Q-dance is a Dutch dance event organizer that focuses on the harder styles of edm like Hardstyle, Happy Hardcore, Hard Dance, and more. As the stranglehold for America’s surging edm market continues to sore, genres like hardstyle with less commercial appeal typically get shunned, simply because the demand for the music isn’t as high.
Occurences like Headhunterz‘ headlining set at EDC Chicago which generated huge response, provide some proof that the sub-genre has taken its first step towards hardcore’s grand (re)introduction here in the States (in terms of edm’s new wave of fans) – formerly prevalent throughout the 90’s underground rave scenes.
Prior to this news, the highlight was TomorrowWorld 2013‘s Q-dance stage. Now we’re getting the whole brand and I’m beyond ecstatic.
Other popular Q-dance concepts include Defqon.1 Festival, Qlimax and X-Qlusive. Q-dance events can be easily identified by the letter “Q” in all of the event names. Q-dance is generally recognized as one of, if not the world’s premiere hardcore dance event organizer.
For now we can only speculate on details regarding location, dates and venue. It’d probably be safe to guess on Los Angeles as the location. What’s interesting is the timing of this announcement and LA Mayor Eric Garcetti’s recent proclamation that “raves should return to the LA Coliseum“. Would the LA Coliseum be a formidable arena?
