Bassrush, Knife Party, & Flux Pavilion Throw Down for EDC Week at Rehab Beach Club [Event Preview]

EDC Las Vegas is only a hop, skip, and a jump away. For those of us that have waited for this all year long, Las Vegas and EDC aren’t the only things to look forward to. The pool parties are the daily pre-games and tone-setters for the rest of your shenanigans to follow that night. The only way to set them off with a bang, is by hitting up one of the infamous pool party venues in Vegas. Rehab Beach Club has their very own TV series, insane pool parties, and top notch artists all summer long. It’s one of the best and most popular pool parties in Vegas for a reason. And this years day parties for EDC week will be no different.

Let’s jump right into who will be playing and when. Considering this is Rehab, you can bet they’re bringing the big boys out to play for this incredible weekend.

Bassrush. A mainstay for EDC Las Vegas and the pool party insanity. Returning for what is guaranteed to be another packed and successful year, they’re bringing the noise with some trap and heavy bass. Bro Safari, 12th Planet, Crizzly, Ookay, Dirtyphonics, Matrix & Futurebound, and Habstrakt. This lineup is bonkers. From Crizzly’s ridiculous trap remix’s to a lot of popular top 20 tracks, to Bro Safari’s bass pounding originals, this will be absolute madness. We’ve included a few of our favorites below.

12th planet – Those heavy wubs will get you hyped, splashing, and headbanging in the pool.

Crizzly – Dope samples and energizing tracks for jumping up and down and getting rowdy with your friends.

Dirtyphonics – Tracks that take you from headbanging to standing arm in arm bobbing back and fourth with your best friends.

These guys all know how to throw down, and with this environment at this location, you better believe they will. Grab your tickets here.

Knife Party. Electro house, DnB, Dubstep, heavy bass. You name it, and these guys have mastered it. A big name in the game for quite some time now, Knife Party is no stranger to playing amazing sets at amazing venues. They will have you dancing and shuffling one minute, to diving into the pool and splashing around with hundreds of others jamming out to classics the next.

One of Knife Party’s more electro-style progressive house tracks, and one of our absolute favorites “Begin Again” is an anthem track, with perfect builds that lead to an even better drop. Suspenseful, and so satisfying when it comes.

Right into the other side of the spectrum, we have “Bonfire”. This track will have you absolutely losing your mind. The build itself is heavy and tense, and suddenly the beat breaks and… “B-B-B-B-Bonfire!” and with all its might, it gets even heavier. This is handsdown a classic.

Last but not least is the dubstep & bass legend himself, Flux Pavilion. This man is a legend when it comes to dubstep. He paved the way for a lot of US based artists, and brought dubstep into a lot of headphones for the first time. Rehab has hosted him before, so you know he’ll be killing it when he makes his return. He’s put together a nice resume of festival classics, that you can catch almost any artist of any genre throwing into a set to get a crowd hyped and off their feet. He just recently dropped a new EP with Doctor P, titled Party Drink Smoke. Peep one of the new, fun tracks below.

This track has a tiny bit of wear on it, and is definitely making it’s rounds and received a ton of remixes. Synth heavy, it’ll get you in your feels while still having an upbeat vibe with some great vocals.

Last but not least, this ridiculous remix to Skrillex and Kill The Noise – Recess. (you thought we were gonna pick “I Can’t Stop” didnt you?) This is only a year old, but we feel it’s got that classic Flux Pavilion sound, added to an already great original. Incredible build, beat break, and fantastic bass bomb. This is just too damn good.
