Since breaking out onto the scene, RUVLO has been taking over NYC’s underground world of dubstep. His bass-fueled soundscapes and unique style have led to performances at some of the top dubstep-centric music festivals, such as Bass Canyon and Lost Lands. Additionally, he has collaborated with Hi I’m Ghost, Jantsen, CRANKDAT, Slushii, and a plethora of other figureheads in the bass community.
Now RUVLO has brought his project to the next level with his brand-new EP, Final Round. This four-track compilation opens with its title anthem, which is an electrifying collision of robotic and celestial sound design. Then, in “Run It Back”, RUVLO teams up with Blurrd Vzn to deliver haymakers of aggressive riddim. The third song on Final Round is a collab with NEOTEK called “Unison” which encompasses a thrilling buildup and entrancing vocal before its emphatic drop. Closing out the EP is “Rave Shit” with SQISHI, featuring daunting production and chilling bass effects.
Altogether, Final Round is a beacon that signals the future of dubstep, riddim, and experimental bass. This EP showcases RUVLO’s skilled production abilities as well as his musical innovation, foreshadowing a bright year for the artist.
