Slander Sets off 2015 with Their New OG Track “New Monarchy” [Free Download]

Slander really sets it off with their original track for 2015, “New Monarchy.” It’s a really unique composition consisting of sounds we haven’t heard from them before, as if this is some sort of allegory for switching up their Heaven Trap throne. The synths are vibrant and dynamic, almost to a comical degree. The drop is also something you wouldn’t normally expect from the earthquake twins.

The most surprising aspect is that the drop is atypical, nothing like a run of the mill big room or trap drop. It’s more tech-infused and dancey with an awesome delay. We love the fact that Slander is growing as artists and even more precisely defining their musical style. Big things are in store for the energetic LA duo this New Year for sure!
