As we try to narrow down the list of summer music festivals that we need to attend, Sonic Bloom stands loud and strong at the top. Even more so now after PANTyRAiD and Tipper’s headlining announcement. With Emancipator, VibeSquaD, Minnesota, GRiZ, Heyoka, Paul Basic, Supervision, and Project Aspect (just to name a few), the rest of the list definitely doesn’t disappoint. And this is just the beginning. The festival is taking place in beautiful Shadows Ranch in Georgetown, Colorado from June 21 to the 24th and is sure to bring a really good crowd as the first tier tickets are already sold out.
Tipper is one of those essential artists everyone needs to see. His performance is visualy mesmerizing and comparable to that of Amon Tobin (but much more bass heavy). He released his new album Puzzle Dust in April and will be making a few stops along the west coast before coming to Sonic Bloom. Check out his site for tour dates and see what he has to offer below!
As major PANTyRAiD fans, we were sufficiently stoked to hear that MartyParty and Ooah were coming back to Colorado (particularly knowing that they’ve been putting finishing touches on their upcoming album)! Though it’s fairly easy to catch their single acts, this baby-making-music creating duo doesn’t tour together all too often so seeing them will always be an honor.
If you haven’t had a chance to see Emancipator live yet, you’ll have plenty of chances this summer as he’ll be making many stops all over the country. The way he’s able to blend laid back tunes with some more upbeat ones makes for one vibey show, not to mention how mesmerizing the violins in his tracks are.
