It was only a month ago that London-based record producer Fabich released his most recent single “Hold On”. The summer anthem has a super chill, laid-back vibe and features silky smooth vocals from Glastonbury Emerging Talent Award winner, Josh Barry. The record has been climbing the charts on Spotify and has since caught the attention of Clash Magazine, C-Heads, as well as New Music Friday placements. With all of the love “Hold On” has been receiving this past month, it was only a matter of time before a killer remix would debut.
“Getting a remix from Sonny was really special. I’ve been following his career for years and I play one of his tracks or remixes in just about every DJ set I play. I love how he transformed the laid-back vibe of my original version into a perfect peak-time house banger!” – FABICH
With the help of Australian super-producer, Sonny Fodera, the song has now transformed into a massive dance-floor anthem. Surprisingly the track doesn’t stray too far away from the original by still keeping the tranquility alive; however, the modern house takeover totally transforms it at the same time. Tonight on BBC Radio 1, courtesy of Pete Tong, the remix is getting its first spin. It’s okay if you can’t tune in tonight though, just press play right below and have a listen for yourself!
