Jeezy is back. One of the most exciting psychedelic bass artists on the east coast, Space Jesus has been constantly pushing his sound forward the past few years and it’s been paying off. Growing an extremely dedicated fan-base, enjoying multiple stops at the legendary COSM and playing festivals all around are just a few of the advantages that come along with forging your own sonic path.
And today, we have “Jawn Lenin”. Taking a page out of Lil Wayne’s book and putting his own spin on it, Space Jesus takes you to the deepest depths of loopy, frenetic bleeps & bloops and hits you where it hurts at the 1:35 mark with a bassline that only be described as unsanitary. There’s only a handful of artists out there where you can close your eyes, click play and know who made it. Space Jesus is certainly one of them.
If you’re lucky enough to be attending Shambhala or Wildwoods Music & Arts Festival then you’ll get to see Space Jesus up close and personal before the summer’s over. Until then, keep your eyes peeled for upcoming shows and new productions, both of which will surely be on the way.
While you’re at it, go ahead and take a peek at the official teaser video put together by Knowledge Knights
