After last week’s star-studded Phase One announcement, Spring Awakening Music Festival is already back with Phase Two, and trust us when we say it’s totally insane. In addition to the full lineup being released today, the festival revealed the roster for the six Branded Stage showcases!
First things first, Ganja White Night was added to perform on the Equinox Stage, following their recent performance at Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom. Bass Kitchen will return with a stacked lineup of the very best in dubstep, trap, and low frequencies. Flux Pavilion will make an exciting return with two sets; one solo and one B2B set with fellow Circus Records mainstay, Doctor P. Other artists that will be joining the madness at this stage include Bro Safari, Bear Grillz, Figure, and Bleep Bloop.
Back by popular demand, the DJ Mag stage returns with high-volume acts who are running the modern dance scene. Nicky Romero, Cash Cash, Deorro, Destructo, and Grandtheft will all be performing at this electro-heavy tent. The Trance Arena is another one of Spring Awakening’s most beloved series and once again, this stage will welcome the top names in trance from all over the world including Gareth Emery, Markus Schulz, Cosmic Gate, Aly & Fila, and Ilan Bluestone.
Returning for its second year, Sunday School takes fans straight to house heaven with its uplifting energy and groovy vibes. Pete Tong, Josh Wink, Will Clarke, and Weiss will take the stage while revered house icon Dubfire will deliver a festival-closing sermon.
Making its Spring Awakening debut this year is Oliver Heldens’ imprint Heldeep. Along with himself, the stage will host the deeper side of house of dance music with Ephwurd, A-Trak, AC Slater, and Mercer. Also making its debut appearance at SAMF this year is Requiem. Fans of techno and house will hover to this stage for sure as dance heroes Sasha & John, Lee Foss, Digweed, Lee Burridge, Anthony, Prok & Fitch, and Anthony Attalla highlight the underground sound.
The 2018 edition of Spring Awakening Music Festival will take place Friday, June 8th through Sunday, June 10th at Addams/ Medill Park in Chicago. Don’t sleep on tickets – get them here. This is going to be one event this summer you will not want to miss!
