The birthplace of house is calling us home! Chicago’s flagship house and techno festival is returning to Union Park this coming Labor Day Weekend, September 1-3. ARC Music Festival has invited internationally renowned talent, hometown legends, and house music architects to showcase their music at the third edition event. ARC will feature major performances and legendary b2b’s across four stages, The Grid, Expansions, Elrow, and The ARC Car. Here’s a stage by stage breakdown:
The Grid gets its name from the city of Chicago’s iconic grid system. It’s the first stage you see when entering the festival grounds and it’s guaranteed to draw a crowd all weekend long. The talent here is just as large as the mega-structure itself. It will hold major performances from the most popular DJs/producers on the lineup. Some notable artists on the bill include Adam Beyer, Boris Brejcha, Eric Prydz presents HOLO, Fatboy Slim, John Summit, and Tale Of Us.
Nestled within the lush trees and greenery of Union Park is Expansions. This stage will be hosting global icons, but still has the feel of an intimate setting. The nature meets house/techno stage will be home to many must-see sets including Black Coffee, Derrick Carter, Mochakk, and the first-ever b2b2b from FISHER, Loco Dice, and Nic Fanciulli.
Spanish party outfit, Elrow is being welcomed back for another stage takeover after two successful years at ARC. Elrow will transport festival goers into a new world of “Nowmads” with costumed characters, wild props, a blizzard of confetti, and house music all night long. The lineup features some of the hottest names in dance music including Dombresky, James Hype, Kyle Walker, Lee Foss b2b Gene Farris, and Vintage Culture. ARC will be Elrow’s only US stage takeover this year!
THE ARC CAR
The ARC Car runs on the fuel of the underground aka house and techno. It may not have the same level of production as the larger stages, but the roster is top-tier. The stage lineup features David Castellani (LIVE), Hiroko Yamamura, Sara Landry, Tara Brooks, and many more.
