It’s no secret that interesting music is a lot harder to obtain these days. With the surprising combustion of the EDM culture in recent years, it was expected that many similar sounds would arise, and the scene itself would become convoluted. Trap is a genre that could easily fall into the perils of this phenomenon, however, once in awhile we hear a remix so tight that we have to talk about it.
STELLAR is an up and coming artist that really impressed us with his glitchy “Million Voices (Stellar Trap Remix).” He brings the same intensity and unique blend of sounds for his remix of The Weekend’s “Often.” There’s plenty of hard bass and heavy 808’s involved in this track, but also enough future funk/soul for anyone wanting a more layered, melodic trap interpretation.
