Stooki Sound and VenessaMichaels are two acts that have made it on RaverRafting before. Watching them grow over the last year or so has been more than a blast – their sound evolving positively with each progressive release. Based out of London, Stooki Sound is on the cutting edge of great trap music, collaborating with the likes of HUCCI, TroyBoi and more, they certainly fit into the trendier, chiller, instrumental-experimental side of trap music that continues to blossom in 2016. LA-based VenessaMichaels is no stranger to success. Two of my favorite releases of hers is “Really Like (feat. Effy)”, a poppy, sexy original that has a strong vocal melody, beat, and spirit about it, as well as “Killing Me Softly” a collaboration with the one and only MOONZz, who is certainly experiencing his own level of success right now. VenessaMichaels knows how to pick who she works with well and has an infectious vibe about her sound.
Stooki Sound, VenessaMichaels and Outlaw are taking over El Rey theater on Dec. 3rd, a combination that’s a unique, yet well-curated juxtaposition without a doubt. These three will be delivering an experience you don’t want to miss out on.
