Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs (Orlando Higginbottom) & Eats Everything combine on “Lion, The Lion” a tech house track with smooth basslines, that’s still heavy enough to destroy the dance floor. The track appeared on T.E.E.D’s Get Lost VI compilation, his first mix cd for Crosstown Rebels.
When describing the remix to Crossfader he said;
“I didn’t want it to be a smooth listening experience, more something that takes you by surprise and opens your ears up.”
T.E.E.D’s international popularity has grown significantly since the release of Trouble last year. It’s his refusal to adhere to one genre or another that makes him remarkable.
“Within electronic music, I would say that I listen for emotion and direction. That is often what sets the good stuff apart.”
Unfortunately for American fans, you won’t have a chance to catch a set for a while unless you have European plans for the remainder of the summer. After playing Unknown Festival in Croatia this September, T.E.E.D is going into hiding to write another album.
The world will all be waiting to hear that.
