Mondays can be quite exhausting. If you’re in need of some relaxing tunes, soothe your senses to this week’s episode of TechThisOut! Episode 19 revolves around minimal tracks that share a subtle emphasis on the snares. Get ready to turn down to the following tracks, which will evoke your deepest emotions through atmosphere and tone.
1. Pryda (Eric Prydz) – Welcome To My House
Although songs produced under the Pryda moniker are typically more house-influenced, this rendition of “Welcome To My House” off the PRYDA Vol II EP has a heavy techno prestige. It might be due to that famous Pryda snare, the pitched down tech vocals, or the minimal nature of this track, but underneath “Welcome To My House” lies a progressive techno gem. It’s not full fledged like his Cirez D personality, but it’s close enough to satiate our Eric Prydz cravings!

2.Tidy Daps – Weight (Analog Trip Remix)
We’re including another hit from Grecian producer, Analog Trip. His remix of Tidy Daps’ “Weight” is a smooth, sexy house-heavy piece with funky synths, simplistic claps and the feeling of an otherworldly atmosphere. There is a fluid jazzy/funk/lounge sort of groove to the track.

3. Timid Boy – Pleasure (Kaiserdisco Remix)
“Pleasure” is a very minimal remix from Kaiserdisco. It sticks to the core setup of snares, claps, drums and a simple melody. Additionally, the industrial sounds cultivate an isolated, introspective vibe – perfect for meditating and spacing out.
