4. Victor Calderone – Burden
It doesn’t get better than Victor Calderon’s “Burden.” This Brooklyn-based producer showcases industrial synths, a distinct bassline, old school techno claps and distorted vocals to keep the listener in a constant groove. “Burden,” released on Drumcode Records, embodies the perfect silhouette of a dark, grungy Brooklyn techno club – and we love it!

5. Ruben Mandolini – Also! (The Junkies Remix) [SC-EDIT]
Let’s close this week’s episode with The Junkies’ remix of “Also!” It’s a heavy banger lying in the guise of a light, minimal track. Although everything is smooth and easy to listen to, there are a lot of powerful elements to this techno tune. A dark aura surrounds the sound, accompanied by industrial overtones, haunting vocals and cheeky claps.
