Today The FADER and Sonos announced the launch of “At Home With…” – an ongoing series with a variety artists – where they head into an artists home to take a look at where they live, work on music and spend their downtime. The first installment of this series stars Brooklyn based producer/DJ, A-Trak. Each month for roughly eight months The FADER and Sonos will be releasing a new video and unreleased track with eight different artists.
As of now you can watch A-Trak’s “At Home With…” film but make sure you check back on the series homepage tomorrow to hear his unreleased remix of “Muscle” – a tune from A-Trak and Lex Luger’s project Low Pros. Also stay tuned for the next artist announcement in May.
“As a DJ and Producer I get to really live the music. I think in a sense, what I stand for, what I do with my DJ-ing has come to symbolize a certain classic meets new. Just the fact that I use turntables – like, turntables are the most iconic, timeless pieces of equipment for DJ-ing but then I’ll go and play at these events that are really really on the cusp of whats new musically and a lot of places where other DJs are using purely digital technology.
