The Floozies – Ice Cold (Out Now via Liberated Music)

The brother duo of Matt and Mark Hill of The Floozies dropped the first single off their upcoming album today, entitled “Ice Cold”. The Floozies style, in my opinion, is truly the epitome of ‘future funk’ with a real, organic way of combining live instrumentals, such as guitar and drums, with just the right touch of electronic production. It’s pretty amazing that two guys can dish out such a blast of funk but they do it effortlessly. “Ice Cold” uses some interesting variations of synths, as well as some talkbox and vocoder use to add some groovy flare.
