Welcome to week 12 of Throwback Thursday! It’s hard to believe that it’s already been three months of Throwback Thursday. It’s also harder to believe that we made it three whole months without posting a single Alesso track *massive applause*. In all seriousness though, an agreement was made between myself and no one else that we would refrain from spamming this series with countless Alesso tracks. I think we’ve done pretty well so far?
Obviously on this three month anniversary we must kick off with the track that arguably placed Alesso on the map. The perfectly produced, perfectly mixed, and unrivaled progressive house anthem that is his remix of Nadia Ali’s “Pressure”. The release came in 2011 as Alesso was rapidly growing under the wings of SHM member and friend, Sebastian Ingrosso. “Pressure” is the track that brought many of us into this crazy world of electronic music. It’s a song that taps into our soul and reminds us of why we love this music so much. Listen below and we’ll see you next week.
