Tiesto’s newest music video is out of this world…literally! Shot on Mars, this video breaks any rumor that there is in fact life on Mars. Okay, that may be an exaggeration, but Tiesto channels his vision of what life would be like on another planet. “Light Years Away” was released a few days ago and people are loving his outrageous music video.
“Light Years Away” is based loosely on the movie Wall-E with plenty of WTF moments. The video displays an unusual human-robot couple trying to survive in the harsh conditions of Mars. The couple journeys through their day-to-day lives in seclusion trying to find out if there is life on their planet. “Light Years Away” shows the struggle of finding organic matter and keeping it alive. Unfortunately, the couple kills their last chance at reviving life on their planet and resort to having intense robot sex instead.
Being one of the world’s top DJs, Tiesto is able to do whatever he wants. Most of his videos contain bizarre story lines and “Light Years Away” is no different. Watch the video for yourself to see Wall-E’s story come to life!
