Seismic Dance Event is a boutique festival curated for house, techno and underground music fans in Austin, Texas. This past May, Seismic carefully resumed as an in-person event at limited capacity, allowing Austinites who tested negative (COVID-19) to gather and groove to an eclectic mix of dance music from over 36 different artists. No matter which stage you were at, Volcano or Tsunami, there was always something interesting spinning; the Seismic sounds spanning the entire techno spectrum.
From spaced out SFX sending attendees down the rabbit hole to reinvented breakbeats spawning impromptu dance circles, Seismic really pushed the needle when it came to deep, minimal, progressive, and techno music.
