I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that Two Friends will go down as one of the top authentic acts in the late 2010’s dance music scene – life couldn’t be going better for the duo, Matt Halper and Eli Sones, who make up the group. Let’s take a look just on the surface: managed by Deckstar, released by Spinnin’ and so many more, booked by Circle Talent Agency, need I say more? The duo charm fans and industry heads on and off the stage with their easy-going personalities, sense of humor, and, most importantly, impeccable uplifting dance music with a post-pop punk tinge.
3 months into 2017 and Two Freinds are already at full blast. They’ve released (in pieces) their latest EP Out Of Love, which has amassed over 1.5 million streams on SoundCloud alone. THe EP features their signature sound thousands have come to know and love layered with noticeably forward-thinking production and writing elements – a perfect mixture of “stick to your roots” with a modern feel – an experience packed with that classic Two Friends smooth, yet powerful feeling.
