Global phenomenon festival ULTRA is making its ninth appearance in Korea on Saturday, September 24, and Sunday, September 25. The revered weekend getaway is set to take place in the booming city of Seoul at Seoul Olympic Stadium. Judging by the sheer size of the venue, the festival is locked to be an unbelievable exhibit of visual production and unforgettable perfromances. Marking the colossal event’s first return since 2019, ULTRA Korea has revealed its Phase 1 lineup featuring a stacked team of EDM’s top artists.
An army of headliners will be making their ULTRA Korea debut, including Billboard chart-topping heavyweight Marshmello, Dutch future house innovator Oliver Heldens, and multi-platinum DJ Timmy Trumpet. These three superstars are sure to carry a wave of euphoria throughout the weekend.
Three-time consecutive winner of DJ Mag’s Top 100 rankings Martin Garrix will showcase his first ULTRA Korea performance since 2016, which promises to be an ultramodern display of high-energy beats. Indian-American production master KSHMR, who initially played at ULTRA Korea in 2017, plans on delivering a genre-bending experience to attendees. Meanwhile, the Dutch king of progressive house known as Nicky Romero is coming back to ULTRA Korea for the third time.
As if this array of talent is not already impressive, ULTRA Korea will also encompass ULTRA’s award-winning underground techno and house concept RESISTANCE. The RESISTANCE Stage will have Drumcode founder and Swedish techno legend Adam Beyer at the helm. He is joined by the extremely powerful supporting cast of Grammy-nominated iconic producer Sasha and MOOD record label boss Nicole Moudaber.
Assuming that the lineup structure will remain similar to ULTRA Korea’s previous festivals, there will be many more gifted music sensations added to the list in the following weeks.
