“Blame It On My Body” is Romanian producer Universe and The Citizen’s debut solo single. The Bucharest based producer, who left behind a potential career in skateboarding to pursue music, drops a real feel-good slice of pop/ electronica and drafts in the vocal and singing talents of Kenyan born, Berlin based singer Angie.
UTC presents a palette of synth-heavy, percussive beats for Angie to add her soaring, unique vocals; creating a coherent and melodic piece of music. It’s a highly worthy debut single from someone who has the potential to soon be a very well known name.
