Untold Festival Releases First Wave Names Including David Guetta & Martin Garrix

Last summer, we entered the magical world of Romania’s biggest EDM celebration, Untold Festival. We’ve had the time of your lives in the Capital of Night and Magic, and have given you the rundown on everything about it already. Now, preparations are in place for this year’s edition, which will mark the 5th anniversary of what has turned into a party no one in Europe wants to miss.

As usual, the first wave of artist announcements offers someone for everyone, including the top DJs in the world. Untolders will get to see Martin Garrix, who will be returning for the third time after missing last year’s event. David Guetta is also a recurrent name, who hasn’t appeared on a lineup since Untold’s first edition back in 2015. And our favorite brothers Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike will return once again for their 5th time.

Other artists announced in this first wave include Timmy Trumpet, Andy C, Borgore, Chase & Status, Loco Dice and Solomun, with their sets scheduled for various stages around the fest. We’ll also be treated to a number of live acts like Bastille, Oscar and the Wolf, and James Arthur.

So far, there hasn’t been word about the return of Armin van Buuren, an Untold veteran who has played unforgettable 7-hour sets well past sunrise is other years. However, old-time Untolders and new enthusiasts are convinced the star of the festival will be announced at a later date.
