This weeks playlist brings forth talented artists and unique remixes. With the weekend right around the corner, we’ve found the best tracks to vibe to after a long week of work. So kick back, dim the lights, and block out the world; it’s time to unwind.
Ellie Goulding – Something In The Way You Move (SMLE Remix)
Hot on the heels of debuting at Ultra Music Festival just last month, electronic production duo SMLE unveil their latest remix of Ellie Goulding’s single “Something In The Way You Move”. The pair have been consistently releasing a collection of beautifully crafted electronic songs that blend orchestral arrangements, soul, and beats in a way unique to their own sonic palate.
Falcons & Ekali – I Won’t Lie feat. Vanessa Elisha
The two producers Falcons & Ekali teamed up for a huge collaboration that will satisfy your trap needs, without getting heavy. They also couldn’t have picked a better vocalist to help bring forth the track. If you’re still not impressed, listen to the track again and you’ll find new sounds coming out of every corner.
Goldwash – Separate
Thanks to my close homie for sending this tune my way. “Separate” by Goldwash leads the listener on a blissed out adventure, through mesmerizing sound design and funk driven bass lines. I’m not surprised at all when I heard he’s received support from BBCR1 and Nest HQ. Enjoy!
AJ – Tongue
It’s an awesome feeling when you find a piece of music you really resonate with. This is EXACTLY the case with “Tongue” by AJ. He crafts a fresh tune and deserves a lot of recognition. Stream that and head over to his SoundCloud to stay updated.
Manila Killa – All That’s Left Ft. Joni Fatora (Myles Travitz Remix)
Besides being apart of the massive and memorable Louis The Child remix package back in January, Myles Travitz had previously been quiet in releasing music focusing rather on further developing his craft. Silence no longer! After releasing a remix for Steve James’ “Renaissance” on April 1st (listen here), a week later Myles has unveiled yet another remix on Ultra Music. This being for Manila Killa’s “All That’s Left,” featuring the beautifully lovetorn vocal of Joni Fatora.
Goldwash- Separate
The Baltimore-based producer, composer, and talented vocalist Goldwash recently released a single that has been grabbing everyone’s attention. This track brings a forth a funky vibe, while still remaining on the more chill side. The angelic vocals compliment the production of his track perfectly.
BiGGiE SMiLES- We Wanted Love Ft. Mylen
This track left a unique mark, while I was listening to it. BiGGiE SMiLES brings forth a house feeling, while still keeping you in a mellow state of mind. This deep house track is paired with the perfect guitar to keep you vibing to a summer feeling.
Opia – Falling (NINE LIVES Remix)
NINE LIVES took “Falling” by Opia and turned it into a track that will have you catching feelings. Their synth design in this track leaves you lost in every wobble and chord. The vocals really tie this track together and leaves you immersed in an atmosphere you’ll love every minute of.
Joe Hertz- Stay Lost Ft. Amber-Simone
Talented and London-based producer Joe Hertz really pushed the limits of his skill on his huge hit “Stay Lost”. While bringing forth a track with heavy R&B influences, he introduces us to fresh and unique elements throughout the track. The perfect combination to combat your late night insomnia and relax your mind to.
Joe Hertz – Stay Lost ft. Amber-Simone (Cabu Remix)
If you thought Joe Hertz’s track “Stay Lost” couldn’t get better, then you haven’t heard Cabu flip the track into an upbeat masterpiece. The remix brings a dancing bass line that helps bring the track to the dance floor with an urgent beat, but retains the soulful feels from Amber-Simone’s lush vocals.
