Welcome back to Unwind The Mind, this time for Volume three! Bringing together all different sub-genre and sounds, we’ll help you find some of the coolest hidden Soundcloud gems. Keep these producers on your map if they’re not already on it.
Happy Ferns – Bullar & Glass
The 19-year-old Swedish producer, ‘Happy Ferns’ just released a new song on Mångata Records. Mångata is a new label out of Sweden and it looks like they will be releasing some great music. Happy Ferns’ new single is called, “Bullar & Glass” and it will take you on a smooth trip from tribal to chill house. Enjoy!
Beef-jello Symphony/Hotline Bling Cover Tho – Tokyo Megaplex + Ø?(Alt-OK)+ Dephrase
This one definitely caught me off guard. For starters, throwing in that randomly awesome Empire Rug commercial sample “1-800-588-2300” but making it sound good by implementing a unique sounding instrumental isn’t an easy thing to do but these guys really mastered it. Cool stuff here.
GoldLink – Unique feat. Anderson .Paak
Soulection rapper GoldLink’s debut album “And After That We Didnt Talk” is shaping up to be a really strong project. The first single released was really great, but “Unique” featuring Anderson .Paak is even better! Soulful hip-hop combines with future style production to create some next level tuneage on this one.
LANDYN – Boneyard
I did not know there was such thing as ambient, emotion-evoking trap music but LANDYN proved otherwise. On “Boneyard” the mysterious producer brings all the feels thanks to some classic 90’s vocal samples, along with a good chunk of well textured synthesizers. Gonna keep an eye on this guy for future music!
yugi boi – Les Juss Be Honest
Last but not least is yung boi and his dark take on Dej Loaf’s hit single “Be Real”. For starters my guess as to why he didn’t correctly name / tag it as a remix is because of the recent Soundcloud purge, they’ve been taking down (and giving strikes to) A LOT of unofficial remixes. “Les Juss Be Honest” is the perfect late night jam to kick back and relax to.
Ferry Corsten – Find A Way (Worthy Remix)
With sweet, graceful melodies, soothing synths, and soulful sample vocals, “Find A Way (Worthy Remix)” is worthy if any chill playlist. Boasting deep/future house vibes and hypnotic melody, this Ferry Corsten remix is worth every second.
Jameston Thieves & LUZCID – Break
This bass-house track will get the rooom thumpin’. Jameston Thieves & LUZCID are two rising names in 2015, “Break” truly features the best parts of both in one track.
Folded Like Fabric – I Tried
Folded Like Fabric’s latest EP I Tried, is mostly fueled by indie vibes throughout, but the single “I Tried” makes for a trippy, chill, vocal tune for fans of downtempo, future bass, and everything in-between.
PANG! – Evigt Fiskande (Original Mix)
PANG! are one of the most educated chill house artists I’ve stumbled upon. Their combination of mysterious, dark themes, acoustic work, and tropical-esque tempo captures a mood all it’s own. Please, dive deep into everything they’ve created. It’ll be the best decision you make all day.
