Move over USA, Europe is making its mark on chill-wave and we couldn’t be happier. With European producers like The Geek x VRV and now Uppermost, we are seeing a huge trend in chill-step all around the globe. Uppermost is one of France’s breakout artists whose mystery leaves us wanting more.
Uppermost teamed up with British singer-songwriter, Josh Banks, to create this mysteriously chill new tune. He uses soulful vocals and progressive synth chords that make the track so mesmerizing. The french-based producer’s “Blame It On Love” reminds us a lot of the Gil Scott-Heron mixes by Jamie XX that we love so much.
“Blame It On Love” is the latest single on Uppermost’s newest EP entitled “New Moon” out on May 25th. You can pre-order “New Moon” now and receive two of his latests tracks along with a special remix.
