It’s time for newcomer Wolves by Night to capture the spotlight with his first ever EP, Close To Me. The two-track EP was released on Mike Mago’s label BMKLTSCH RCRDS on November 24th.
Composed of two new tracks, “Close To Me” and “I Wanna Know,” it’s easy to see what’s special about this DJ/Producer – his voice. Indeed, Wolves By Night is one of the few producers out there who has had the courage to sing on his own songs. “Close To Me” is a fun track, with an up-beat rhythm, featuring easy-going lyrics performed by the producer, while “I Wanna Know” is significantly slower, with more emotion and a general feel-good vibe. It’s clear that Wolves By Night managed to create exactly what he wished for – “something that had a cool blend of those old school soulful vibes and timeless 808 drums, that I could top off with my own vocals”.
