Last month, WUMP Collective announced the release of a compilation to debut in early August. The day has finally come and we could not be more ecstatic. This collection of tracks takes you through a journey from beginning to end, created by sixteen different artists who are all members of WUMP Collective. A few of these songs, including Mindset’s “Stash,” Pure Colors’ “Ransom,” and Pluto’s “Destroy All Humans” are bass-heavy, deep thrillers. These tracks get you on your feet and moving. There are a few other tracks, such as pi & Stan-Eggs’ (7 am), Smigonaut’s “Nightcap,” and FunkStatik’s “This Way” that are chill and groovy. You could not possibly listen to these tunes and not get your groove on.
This compilation features intense bass, soft groovy tunes, and chill, melodic tracks. It has a little bit of everything, and it is everything we needed. It is the perfect tribute to this summer and all it’s had to offer, and it’s a huge release for WUMP Collective. While we’re looking forward to more music from WUMP Collective in the future, and the Campsite Compilation is definitely one of our favorites.
