Flashback Friday: Zeds Dead ft. Omar Linx – Cowboy (UZ Remix)

I’ve decided to flashback to a little over a month ago when Ultra Records released Zeds Dead‘s ‘Cowboy’ remixes package on Beatport. The pack featured remixes by Torro Torro, Congorock, DC Breaks, and UZ. UZ’s remix reminds me of weekend two at the ever-elusive Ultra Music Festival.

When Zeds Dead took the stage and dropped UZ’s remix of ‘Cowboy’, the crowd went absolutely nuts. It is definitely one of the most amazing trap reworks and my favorite off of the remixes package. The record builds up to a sick drop with bass that explodes through every beat. I remember being upfront with my hands up in ZD formation and every time the beat hit and the bass reached my chest I was leaning and rocking.
