When I first heard Michael Woods‘ ‘Platinum Chains’ the only word that came to mind was: Massive. I am really surprised by the path that Woods took from beginning to end, I didn’t expect such an invigorating drop.
Progressive tracks are normally more relaxed, they tend to provide an uplifting vibe that gets you shuffling rather than raging your face off – it’s extremely refreshing to hear something different. The choppy, pulsing synth lines are backed by a pumping kick drum and in my opinion that is what makes this record so big.
Purchase ‘Platinum Chains’ on Beatport.
