T.Wilde – Take You There (Free Download)

Today, WRR showcases a smooth, feel-good electro-soul remix of The Staple Singers’ “Take You There” by Denver, Colorado’s T.Wilde. T.Wilde, a staple of the electro-soul label Philos Records, does an excellent job of reviving this 1972 funk track, adding a new-age spin on it but letting its original atmosphere breathe through. It features a crisp hip-hop beat, intricate vocal chopping and buzzing synths that complement the original flawlessly. Tucker Wilde does an impeccable job of touching up this track just as much as it’s needed; not too little, not too much.
