You know how really good music takes you to another planet? 12th Planet is making it happen with his energetic dubstep shows. If you love the guy, he’s got love for you too. It’s all on display in his new mini-documentary titled 12th Planet: The End Is Near. The video re-visits his recent North American tour, the magnitude of his show, and the intimacy of the venues. On a personal level, 12th Planet talks about what it feels like to succeed and to see your friends succeed – given that your friends include people like Skrillex.
12th Planet will be spending the rest of the year touring the US, Canada, and Asia in support of Pretty Lights and Dada Life. Look for his wild show to come to your city, and get a jump on visiting his recently re-launched website (my reaction when I visited: this is dope!). It’s has contests for tickets to the SMOG Takeover at Control, in Los Angeles on Friday August 24. You’ll also have a chance to meet 12th Planet at Electric Zoo Festival in NYC on Saturday, September 1.
