When trying to make something of yourself as an artist, many young producers look up to the best of their trade hoping that one day they can be just like them. For Russian rising star Arty, he looked up to dance kings Armin van Buuren and Paul Van Dyk when he began his journey. Little did he know he would later collaborate and put out releases with these two legends. Since then, the young producer has developed and evolved his sound from the early days, and he is now one of the leaders in the progressive house scene.
2014 was a monumental year for Arty with his smash single, “Up All Night” ft. Angel Taylor, Vegas residencies at Drai’s and XS, epic sets at the finest nightclubs and festivals like EDC Las Vegas, and remixes of London Grammar’s “Hey Now,” OneRepublic’s “I Lived,” and more. But, the most impressive feat by the Russian young gun was his spot as Interscope/Insomniac Records’ first signee. Even with all of his success last year, it’s looking like Arty may have an even more prosperous and personally fulfilling 2015.
On the cusp of taking his career to the next level, Arty has plans that could definitely catalyze his rise in the international spotlight. Over the past couple of years, he has been producing his long-awaited debut album, a magnum opus that’s a culmination of the music that defines him as an artist. It’s finally set for release this year, and it’s expected to be a game-changer for this progressive house maestro. With his debut album on top of more new originals, official remixes, high profile performances, the continuation of his XS residency, and more, Arty seems like he’s set to reach new heights, and we couldn’t be more excited.
