4B raced onto the scene early 2015 with what, at the time, was intense, rapidly innovative sounds compared to the trap sound that was beginning to become undeniably mainstream. The solo DJ caught the scenes eye with an all-energy, hyper-rhythmic style. It was at this point that 4B played become apart of the trend, and soon he’d begin to influence it.
Fast forward on a year later, 4B now has his own EP on Mad Decent, his brand and name has only grown, and the trap scene is crowded with similar-sounding artist trying to mimick what 4B started focusing on long ago – but “Weapons 2.0” proves he has an edge – that he can take trap above and beyond the status quo, no matter the competition or pressure. 4B is one artist who’s talent is present, ensuring his place in the dance music scene for the long run.
