The Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub in Las Vegas is one of the music industry’s leading forces in bringing refreshing sounds to the L.V. Strip. This year they’ve announced a mind-blowing list of residencies which includes names such as ATB, Sander van Doorn, Cosmic Gate, Carnage and 3LAU, to name a few. At first glance this list is overwhelming and will having you wondering how you will decide which shows you to attend once you land in Las Vegas over the next few months. Now, while all of these artists are promising – and will surely provide an exciting experience – WhiteRaverRafting has decided to highlight five acts that we believe will blow you out of the of the water. We hope this effort will make your decisions a little easier.

Kaskade

Earlier this year, Kaskade announced his return to Marquee Las Vegas with an all-new redesigned Summer Lovin’ residency. This set is going to be extremely rare and unique to the Las Vegas community, so WhiteRaverRafting highly suggests stopping by Marquee for a refreshing musical experience. Also, if you prefer night-clubbing to day-clubbing – or vice versa – don’t worry, these Summer Lovin’ events will be hosted on both ends of the spectrum.

Kaskade’s festivities will begin on May 3 and dates will range through May, June and August – to our knowledge so far. Be prepared to take a step back into the 1970’s as the past will meet the present through unparalleled production and custom decor.

Porter Robinson

Porter Robinson’s Marquee Las Vegas residency at The Cosmopolitan will offer another rare experience to electronic dance music fans this year. This will be one of the few times throughout 2014 that fans will have the opportunity to catch P.R.’s classic DJ set. With his debut album release in the near future, Porter has been working on a groundbreaking live performance to pair with it – leaving Marquee as the only spot to see the high energy and diverse sets that he has become known for.

So far on the calendar on Marquee’s website they have pegged Porter to play April 25th and May 25th – but look for more show announcements over the coming months.

Chuckie

If you’re a fan of that bleep-y dirty Dutch sound, Marquee has given you yet another reason to visit their establishment in Las Vegas this summer. Chuckie is one of WhiteRaverRafting’s most highly anticipated acts on this years stacked Marquee L.V. bill. Our reasoning? This dutch label-head knows how to hype up a party with his mixing skills and slick track selection. Plus, we’re willing to bet that Chuckie has a lot of unreleased tracks in store for these performances – after all who doesn’t love new music? If you make it out to Las Vegas this summer you should consider planning you trip around Chuckie’s appearances.

Currently, Chuckie is booked to play on May 30, April 27, June 1 and June 14 – however, remember to check Marquee’s calendar for more show announcements.

Armin van Buuren

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that trance legend Armin van Buuren has made our list of must see Marquee Las Vegas acts for 2014. With his hectic tour schedule and massive festival presence, it’s often hard to catch Armin in an intimate setting. WhiteRaverRafting highly encourages trance lovers to see AvB perform in front of a smaller audience. Like most DJs, his sets differ depending on his surroundings and the vibes that are given off. We believe Marquee will make for a very pure and diverse musical outcome. Purchasing a ticket to one of these events guarantees a cozy musical journey with one of the worlds finest producer/DJs.

Right now Armin van Buuren is set to perform on May 2 – with more dates are on the way.

Cash Cash

To round out our list of must see acts we’ve chosen the very talented Cash Cash trio. Jean Paul Makhlouf, Alex Makhlouf and Samuel Frisch were nominated and won this years IDMA for “Best Breakthrough Artist,” making them one of the most sought after bookings in electronic dance music. Luckily Marquee has secured their company for 2014 and you can expect a one of a kind performance when you see them.

Last year their record with Bebe Rexha, titled “Take Me Home,” shattered the scene and garnered the attention of some of EDM’s most well-known names. This year these guys haven’t held back as they’ve released a collaboration with Adrian Lux, titled “Bullet,” for free along with another original track featuring John Rzeznik, known as “Lightning”. This is only the beginning for these Roseland, NJ natives and you now have a chance to see them before they popularity shoots through the roof.
