5.) Mord Fustang
Beatport’s Breakthrough producer of the year, Mord Fustang remains one of the more underrated producers today. The Estonia native brings it live and feeds off of the crowd’s energy. His set comes earlier in the day, but it’s only day two and you should still be raging strong (well maybe not if you hit one of the Electric Zoo Afterparties).
4.) Boys Noize
The Electric Zoo set on Sunday really sets off Boys Noize’s North American tour so you will have other opportunities to see him, but I’m betting on something else. I don’t know if you’ve listened or drank any Dog Blood lately, but his new project with Sonny Moore is incredible. Skrillex doesn’t have anything scheduled on Sunday night after his set and at marquee festivals like Electric Zoo magic things happen.
3.) Nicky Romero
Is Toulouse not one of the biggest tracks of the year? It seems like every major dj has some edit or cuts into it during their set and it’s definitely not something to complain about. If you watched his set at Tomorrowland, you’ll know why I say that you cannot miss Romero as he takes the main stage on Friday.
2.) Above & Beyond
Above & Beyond’s style of trance / house is an incredibly moving experience with some of the most passionate fans in all of electronic dance music. You can’t miss A&B because they’re doing Group Therapy all day Friday at the Hilltop Arena and then hit the mainstage on Saturday after Dada Life.
1.) Diplo
I think that every dj envies Diplo. He’s out producing and making music with whoever he wants like Snoop Lion and unlike some Diplo’s sets aren’t limited as he’s constantly changing the style and bpm’s. Not to mention he also started a global phenomenon known only as #EXPRESSYOURSELF. If you’re a Tiesto diehard, go see Tiesto… I’ll be at Riverside with all of the big booties.
