With Ultra before us the world’s premiere electronic music festival keeps turning heads as it releases new phases and drops massive collaborations, reveals, and announcements. With plenty of DJ legends now available to see and lot of show choices to be made, here are 7 artists with shows simply not to be missed.
Garrix
Garrix’s relationship with Ultra and Miami during UMF season is wide and at times overlooked, but all factors given there’s no doubt Garrix won’t be throwing down ID’s, giving STMPD RCRDS love, and providing an overall sick mix. Whether it be the his label stage at Ultra Miami or the man himself performing, the proactive DJ/producer goes big year round, but in particular at Bayfront Park.
Fisher
Having one of the biggest hits in recent times in the ever-flooding world digitally released singles, Fisher has climbed to the A-list rapidly since 2017 EP’s and the smash “Losing It” in 2018. The aftermath of those times continues to compound as Fisher headlines clubs like Story Miami during their massive 2020 Superbowl Party. Fisher brings the personality, party, and performance skills to the stage all in one go.
Flume
After the Burning Man incident, Flume has become even more embedded into the global dance consciousnesses. Often leaning more on the soulful or softer side of electronic, Flume continues to display different sides of himself over the years. Have reaching millions of fans through his work and played hundreds, if not thousands of shows across the globe. Flume’s lens on dance is something to treasure.
Zedd
Germany’s Zedd has a gift for bringing emotional, cinematic experiences through his music to the masses and the world has yet to be exhausted. Zedd’s always refreshing and revitalizing what he brings on tour. With that said, the soloist is equipped with what he labels ‘The Orbit,” the production reveal of which can be found here. Nuff said.
Major Lazer
Each with their own unique fanbase and followings, the dub influenced electronic trio are making their way to Miami this year. Featuring Diplo, Walshy Fire, Ape Drums, the group itself is well-cemented as an icon of modern times with some of their music videos holding numbers into the billions.
Jauz / NGHTMRE + Slander / Kayzo
With much commonality between the two distinctive B2B’s, a behemoth of a bass collective represents what peak bass music is in 2020. All four acts each rose to fame in their own way but are united under the fiercly-fun energy within the heavy side of EDM. Each event will be a doozy to say the least and some of the best in the business will tag team here at UMF.
