Having long been an active figure in the scene, many electronic music listeners will recognize the name DJ S3RL for his iconic tune, “Pretty Rave Girl.” An Aussie native to Brisbane, Queensland, S3RL is renowned for his vivacious, punchy, and distinctive tracks which often fall under the categories dubbed “Happy Hardcore” or “UK Hardcore.” Having risen up as a leading figure within the genre, S3RL’s tunes are also quite noteworthy for their comical, eccentric, and often satirical lyrics.
With his most recent song, entitled “Genre Police” (feat. Lexi) having been released at the beginning of this month, we thought it would be appropriate to compile a list of seven remarkable fan-favourite S3RL tracks that showcase some of the best that the Happy Hardcore genre has to offer.
