Friday is finally upon us which means one thing: time to less loose and not give a f*ck for a full three days. Lots of great music was released this week, but not all of it got the limelight it deserved. We’ve compiled a list of 7 tracks released this week that will easily fill your weekend with pure electronic joy.
Disclosure – Latch (Sani & Alexi Christakis Remix) [Future Bass]
Easily my favorite track of the week. Sani & Alexi Christakis push future bass to the limit with huge, exciting pauses featuring drum solos and dynamic, pulsating keyboard arpeggios. No other remix comes close to what these two have done for “Latch.”

Bloodhound Gang – Bad Touch (Sharkoffs Remix) [Drum & Bass]
First up is a brand new remix from the famous finned artist Sharkoffs. The anonymous DJ breaks new ground with “Bad Touch (Sharkoffs Remix,)” giving fans a first-time listen of his d’n’b style. The remix includes common Sharkoffs traits like bubbly melodies and raw synth rhythms, but is still vastly different from the Sharkoffs we know.

Adventure Club – Bad Touch (Candyland & REVOKE Remix) [Trap/House]
Candyland and REVOKE teamed up to take on Adventure Club’s melodic dubstep classic “Gold,” enhancing the original with heart-melting progressive bridges and trap-laced drops. “Gold (Candyland & Revoke Remix)” conveys a surprisingly chill twist that compliments the vocals even better than the original.

Pegboard Nerds – New Style
Pegboard Nerds showcases a more tribal feel to their energetic sound with “New Style.” Pegboard Nerds still delivers solid uplifting melodies, but this time blends hardstyle and trap elements into the drops, making PG’s “New Style” a tune you’ll be playing again and again.
Shift K3y – Touch (Radio Edit)
Shift K3y’s “Touch” takes the energy down a notch, but still shares a great message and a catchy beat. The single is comparatively different to the onslaught of poorly-produced tracks you’ll find out there. The mixture of deep house percussion and r&b vocals makes “Touch” a must hear.
Varien – Gunmetal Black
Varien’s latest single “Gunmetal Black” is an exciting, refreshing single released by the label juggernaut Monstercat. Impressively blending Japanese instrumentation and deep guitar riffs together, Varian is able to create a completely new original out of two genres that are virtually opposites of each other.
Panic City – Girls On Shoulders
Recently signed to Dim Mak Records, Panic City released a vibrate banger entitled “Girls On Shoulders.” Featuring esthetically pleasing album art and a beat that quickly takes over the brain, Panic City is set to explode on the EDM summer scene with “Girls On Shoulders” and another upcoming single “Bang Bang.”
