‘Tis the season of giving back and GRiZ is doing just that with his 7th annual ‘12 Days of GRiZMAS‘ charity event series streaming via Twitch and Zoom from December 12-23, 2020.
GRiZ’s ’12 Days of GRiZMAS’ will benefit the city that he holds close to his heart, the city of Detroit. Alongside local non-profit Seven Mile, GRiZMAS’ objective is to raise funds for inner city youth by providing vital programs such as music education, art programs, and coding lessons. On the Auction Night, GRiZ was able to raise $24,000 alone!
GRiZMAS 2020 will gift fans with performances, activities, and community service initiatives surrounding the holiday season. The festivities commenced on December 12 with activities like Killer Crafts & Cocktails featuring step-by-step holiday drink creations from Standby Detroit mixologists, a special Holiday Jazz Stream with GRiZ & Friends, a digital charity auction featuring one-of-a-kind GRiZ memorabilia, cookie baking night with mama GRiZ, and many more. Although some of these activities have passed, there are still some exciting events to come including Kulabunga Activity Day, Family Board Game Night, and finally, the main event, GRiZMAS Digital Charity Festival. The festival will feature eight hours of live performances from dance music’s most prominent artists, Destructo, AC Slater, J. Worra, Blunts & Blondes, SunSquabi, ProbCause, Codes, over ten surprise acts, and a special two hour performance from the man himself, GRiZ.
