Let’s go play in the water…you can borrow my Skid Row T-Shirt.
Sebastian Bach, former frontman of 80’s hair metal band Skid Row, recently collaborated with Dada Life on a new version of their track “Born to Rage” that’s to be released April 8th. However, his rock n roll fans reportedly haven’t been too excited about this, according to an article by Big Shot Magazine.
Bach posted a photo (above) with the duo and shared a link to their original song, which only lead to fans leaving the following comments:
“All I’m seeing is a crappy compilation video with horrible house music. What shit is this?”
“Sebastian Bach those two dorks are so taking away from your hotness! UGH”
and my personal favorite, “tHOSE ARE HIS BODY GAURDS NO ONE WANTS THAT PRETTY FACE MESSED UP”
On the flip side though, Olle Cornéer and Stefan Engblom, our favorite champagne and banana loving Swedish duo, were more than excited for Bach to work with them. Corresponding with Big Shot, they said: “Sebastian Bach was top of the list for us to work with on this track…He follows the Rules of Dada and, of course, he was Born To Rage.”
I am excited to hear the new track, and for all of Seb’s rocker fans, maybe check out “Rolling Stone’s T-Shirt” and give DADA a chance?! Sebastian at least is, and I love to see artists experimenting and breaking out of their genre boundaries. Rage on, Seb, rage on; You’re welcome here.
