After a very successful inception, Asian-American mass media company, 88Rising is bringing their Head in The Clouds Music & Arts Festival back to Los Angeles for it’s second annual year.
88Rising is both a music label and creative agency that is dedicated to creating a fresh platform for new artists, by bringing light to underrepresented artists and cultures. The company was founded by Asian-American Sean Miyashiro, as a means of introducing music from East Asia to the Westerners, with a heavy focus on hip-hop and r&b. The roster of artists include Rich Brian, Joji, Higher Brothers, and so much more.
Last year, 88Rising hosted their very first festival in downtown Los Angeles before embarking on a huge world tour. The one day festival was a huge success and brought in a crowd of over 10,000 attendees.
This year, they have decided to diversify the line-up by featuring a new Electronic music stage which will feature some big named producers such as Manila Killa, K?D, Josh Pan, and so much more! The line-up also features the 88Rising crew, Rich Brian, Joji, Higher Brothers, Niki, August08, and many more.
