88Rising is returning with its flagship festival, Head In The Clouds! Introduced in 2018 with an estimated crowd of 10,000 attendees, the festival grew to around 23,000 its second year and then took a break last year for obvious reasons, but is back in full force in partnership with Goldenvoice for its 3rd edition. This year’s festival will expand to two days at a bigger venue at Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.
88Rising is both a music label and creative agency that is dedicated to creating a fresh platform for new artists, by bringing light to underrepresented artists and cultures. The company was founded by Asian-American Sean Miyashiro, as a means of introducing music from East Asia to the Westerners, with a heavy focus on hip-hop and r&b. The roster of artists include Rich Brian, Joji, NIKI, and so much more.
As usual, the headlining artist slots welcome back Joji, Rich Brian, and NIKI, with a stacked undercard including Saweetie, CL, and producers Elephante, Josh Pan, and so much more!
