After catching A-Trak at UMF, where the WRR team was effervescently surprised at his live performance, my radar has been up for anything coming from his way. Immediately when the beat drops in this track you can feel that patented A-Trak unique funk + big bass pop tempo. Each of his tunes carry different and distinct synth sounds. Original production and remixes alike, A-Trak deserves to be mentioned among the elite in electronic dance music.
This track in particular has a disco dance feel to it pumping Kimbra and Mark Foster vocals throughout. After Kimbra’s success with possibly the most heavily remixed track ever (Somebody That I Used To Know) and the addition of Foster, you know this is bound to be some next level shit. Listen now before the radio burns the fuck out of it.
Note: This production is a part of Journey & Converse’s Plug Into Color promotion. Check out the official video and the “making of” video after the jump.
