Above Festival at Limelight is one of the newest and most unique festivals to hit the east coast. Located in Greensboro, NC LimeLight provides the perfect setting for outdoor and indoor fun. This one day festival will feature a live art lounge on the first floor, food trucks for days in the parking lot out back, and plenty of room to flow with your poi or fire.
The lineup includes the dubstep genius of Levitation Jones, the entrancing hooks from Bad Catholics, and more, along with a host of local acts you will love.
Regarding stages, the rooftop stage will include custom projection artwork for the headliners provided by Jacob Burke. The second floor stage has all of your local and regional DJs, and killer decorations provided by Source Code Deco. Based on the quality of branding and design Above has put out so far, you can expect great things the day of.
If you haven’t heard of Vibe Street, now is the time. One of the fastest growing acts in the funky bass scene, Vibe Street is planning an extensive Two Hour Sunset Set, on point for this time of the year. Read more about Vibe Street here, definitely an act you should be familiar with.
Finally, Truth, an up and coming New Zealand group, will throw down some sick tunes to close out the day. Their late-night set will be the peak of the night, an epic close to dynamic and diversified lineup.
Above Festival is one of a kind and this is the first year they’ve taken off. The festival will be an 18 and up show, and there is a limited amount of free tickets so you need to act fast to be a part of this event remember.
